I think that most of us can agree that 2015 has been a ride.
The PIY Life has grown by leaps and bounds this year and it was our best Christmas season yet, despite a hiccup with our EX manufacturer ( We have an awesome one now don't worry! Think 48 hour turn arounds :o )
Personally, I have learned how strong of a woman and mother I am / can be in the face of a lot. This year we finally, after many years of struggling through, were able to get a diagnosis for my son so that we can get therapy for some of his sensory problems. Although it def wasn't what we were expecting we have come a long way and still have a long way to go.
This year has brought a lot of change in our country, science, the world, and most of our views of humanity. Some things have changed for the better, and some have gotten knocked off course temporarily. But this is the time of year where we as humans get a fresh start. It is a NEW YEAR! Or as my son likes to call it "Earth's Birthday".
It is our time to gear up, put on a brave face, and fight for our right to be happy! Our time to make a difference no matter how small for whomever we choose, even ourselves. This year I plan to quit smoking cigarettes, which is one of my biggest vices, and I am going to be present in the moment more.
Our family will be celebrating with our adopted family on Wednesday, because as my "adopted" sister said earlier this evening, "New Years is for adults." I firmly believe it is our reward for surviving Christmas!
So HAPPY NEW YEAR! And CONGRATULATIONS... Your SURVIVED the HOLIDAYS!
Pat yourself on the back and add some sparkle to your own family (or adult) celebration with our free printable.
